Vaccination is the only reliable way to protect yourself from many dangerous diseases, especially in childhood. Therefore, it is important that parents take responsibility for the health and safety of their children and ensure that they are vaccinated in time.

Dytynologs (pediatricians) of the Dobrobut Medical Network advise all the parents to adhere to the preventive immunizations schedule, and in addition to mandatory vaccinations, the parents are also advised to do recommended vaccination in order to protect the baby from certain infectious diseases.

Vaccination against 10 dangerous diseases is mandatory. These are:

• whooping cough;
• diphtheria;
• tetanus;
• measles;
• mumps;
• rubella;
• tuberculosis;
• hemophilic infection type b (HIB infection);
• poliomyelitis;
• Hepatitis B.

All of them are included in the calendar of preventive vaccinations drawn up by the Ministry of Health.

In addition to the mandatory ones, there are also recommended vaccinations against:

• rotavirus infection;
• chickenpox;
• pneumococcal infection;
• hepatitis A;
• meningococcal infection;
• flu;
• human papillomavirus infection.

The division into compulsory and optional vaccines is conditional and is connected with the fact that compulsory vaccinations of children should be done at the expense of the state budget, and recommended vaccinations may be done at parents’ expense. Nevertheless, they are no less important, because the diseases, from which they are made, are also very dangerous for children.

Dytynologs (pediatricians) of the Dobrobut Medical Network have developed a vaccination calendar, which contains all the recommended vaccinations for children from birth, which will help to get vaccinated in time. In addition, our doctors will help to develop the individual vaccination plan in case when, due to circumstances or to illness, vaccination was not done in time.
