I always draw their attention to what kind of Internet can be trusted and what kind cannot. There are sites where you can get professional, adequate advice, and there are all kinds of forums where the information is unverified. Any statement must have a solid evidence base. Sometimes it is difficult to find a common language with parents, but never with children. Children are always grateful.”

• “I am interested in almost all related fields of pediatrics. A pediatrician is a generalist and, like it or not, you have to understand everything: functional research methods, pediatric neurology, endocrinology, nephrology, and cardiology.”

Hobbies, favorite movies, books:

• “Spending time with my family is a hobby, because, unfortunately, I don't have time for anything else. And traveling. I love to travel. I've been everywhere! It's easier to say where I haven't been. But I still like it best at home.”

Doctor's advice:

• “You have to treat what needs to be treated and not treat what doesn't need to be treated! Do not look for diseases where there are none. This is the main advice. After all, children are initially healthy, but their parents make them sick.”
