Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your loved ones from infectious diseases and possible complications.

Flu vaccination reduces the risk of getting sick, prevents the development of serious complications, and alleviates the symptoms of the disease if infection does occur.

When should you get vaccinated?

The best time for vaccination is before the active spread of the flu begins. In Ukraine, the flu season usually lasts from October to April, so it is recommended to get vaccinated in the fall.

However, you can still get vaccinated later if you missed the opportunity to do so before the season began.

How to Book a Vaccine

At "Dobrobut," you can book the necessary vaccine in advance for a specific date and time without mandatory prepayment.

Important: the reserved vaccine can only be used for vaccination at "Dobrobut." It cannot be taken home or purchased for use at another facility.

1. Contact the Call Center or Reception

To check the availability of the necessary vaccine and to book it, please contact the call center or the reception of the selected "Dobrobut" medical center.

An employee will check the availability of the required vaccine and arrange the booking for a convenient date and time.

2. Receive Confirmation

After successful booking, you will receive an SMS or Viber message with information about:

• the name of the vaccine;
• the validity period of the booking;
• the address of the clinic.

Note: a doctor's consultation is mandatory before vaccination.

How long can you book a vaccine for?

The flu vaccine can be booked up to 2 days in advance.

If you do not use the booking within the specified time, it will be automatically canceled and the vaccine will be returned to stock.

If the required vaccine is unavailable

If the necessary vaccine is temporarily unavailable, you can add yourself to the waiting list by calling the contact center.

As soon as the vaccine becomes available:

1. you will receive an SMS or Viber message;
2. after receiving the message, you need to contact the call center yourself to book the vaccine.

How to Cancel a Booking

If your plans have changed, you can cancel your booking. To do this:

• submit a request to the reception of the medical center where the booking was made;
• or wait for the automatic cancellation after the booking period expires if the vaccine was not paid for.

How Vaccination is Conducted

Vaccination at "Dobrobut" occurs in three stages:

1. Doctor's Examination

Before vaccination, the doctor evaluates your health and determines whether vaccination can be performed.

The examination is mandatory and conducted on the day of vaccination.

A basic examination lasting 15 minutes is provided for flu vaccination.

2. Vaccination

After the examination, the nurse will administer the vaccine. The injection is painless and takes just a few seconds.

3. Post-Vaccination Observation

After the injection, we recommend staying at the medical center for about 30 minutes. This is standard practice to ensure that you or your child feels well and to provide immediate assistance if necessary.

Do I need to pay for the vaccine at the time of booking?

No. Booking does not require mandatory prepayment.

Can I take the booked vaccine home?

No. The booked vaccine can only be used for vaccination at "Dobrobut".

What will happen if I do not arrive for vaccination on time?

After the booking period expires, it is automatically canceled, and the vaccine is returned to stock.
