Patronage programs and medical support for children under 1 year old
The first weeks and months of a baby's life are a period of adaptation, care, and a great number of questions for parents. During this time, it is especially important to have a doctor you can trust nearby. That is why in the "Dobrobut" medical network, we have created comprehensive patronage programs for children under 1 year old.
The patronage program is a systematic medical support for the baby, which helps parents have a clear plan for monitoring health and development. A pediatrician (chosen by the family) is assigned to the child, who accompanies you throughout the entire duration of the program, knows the baby’s development history, and provides personalized recommendations.

What is newborn home visiting and how does it work
In general, home visiting refers to medical care provided at home. In our network, newborn home visiting is a special program that includes doctor visits to the baby in the first months of life. The specialist not only examines the child but also instructs the parents on how to properly care for the infant, organize daily life, and what to pay attention to first.
If you are interested in professional care in Kyiv, "Dobrobut" offers expert-level services that include all necessary laboratory tests, consultations, and instrumental diagnostics.
When is the first home visit conducted for a newborn
According to medical standards, the doctor should examine the infant for the first time within three days after discharge from the maternity hospital. However, if the baby was born with certain complications or belongs to a risk group, the initial home visit is carried out on the day of discharge.
Subsequently, the child is monitored during the first ten days. If the baby is healthy and the parents successfully follow the recommendations, subsequent examinations are conducted in two weeks, and then at 21 days of life.
During the first examination, the doctor:
- takes the history: asks about the course of pregnancy and childbirth, hereditary diseases, Apgar score, and the baby's behavior after birth;
- conducts a physical examination: weighs and measures the child, assesses the condition of the skin, fontanelles, chest, muscle tone, reflexes, and flexibility;
- provides care advice: discusses breastfeeding rules, sleep patterns, prevention of dangerous conditions, and helps evaluate the appropriateness of baby furniture and stroller choices.
The first visit is usually the longest: the examination of the child lasts about 20 minutes, and the conversation with the parents can take over an hour, so you can get answers to all your questions.
Our Support Programs
We offer three options for programs so that you can choose the optimal level of support:
- Mini: basic support and the minimum required scope of medical monitoring.
- Standard: extended support with additional consultations and examinations.
- Maxi: the most comprehensive support, focusing on maximum attention to the child's development.
By purchasing a program, you receive comprehensive support and save over 15% compared to the cost of similar services priced separately.
How to Choose a Doctor and Program
Our pediatricians are your family assistants and advisors. Many of them have additional specializations (allergology, nephrology, pulmonology, infectious diseases), which allows for a deeper assessment of the child's health.
The "Dobrobut" medical centers are located in various districts of Kyiv and the region. You can choose a clinic near your home, and our managers will help you select a doctor. The organizational work is handled by a personal support manager: he will remind you of planned visits and help you quickly resolve any administrative issues.
The clinic's contact center operates 24/7. To make an appointment or learn more about our patronage services, call us or fill out the form on our website.
