- Laboratory tests, including blood and urine tests to detect genitourinary tract infections, hormonal imbalance or other conditions;
- Papanicolaou smear to check for cervical cancer;
- pelvic ultrasound transvaginal and through the anterior abdominal wall.
- CT and MRI scans;
- Mammography;

Screening examinations
Regardless of the presence of complaints or symptoms, it is recommended to undergo preventive examinations with a gynecologist at least once a year. It is better to start visits at the onset of puberty (at 13-15 years of age) or earlier.
Annual diagnostic examination usually includes a gynecological examination, PAP-test, Papanicolaou smear (for the presence of atypical cells of the cervical mucosa), pelvic ultrasound, breast ultrasound for women under 35 years of age and mammography for patients over 35 years of age.

- bleeding between periods, and abnormal discharge during the menstrual cycle,
- frequent or urgent urges to urinate,

Treatment methods in outpatient gynecology
The gynecological department of MS "Dobrobut" uses modern methods for treatment of diseases of the female reproductive system, namely:
- drug treatment and local therapy,
- radio wave therapy of the cervix,
- cryotherapy,
- colposcopy,
- loop electrosurgical excision (LEEP) for the treatment of cervical dysplasia,
- mesh prosthesis placement,
- removal of uterine polyps,
- physiotherapy and others.
Most modern treatments are performed on an outpatient basis and do not require recovery. If conservative therapy does not give the desired effect, it is possible to use surgical techniques.
Women's health significantly affects the quality of life, so gynecologists do their best to preserve it.
