What is PCR testing and how does it work:

A PCR test for COVID-19 indicates the presence or absence of DNA or RNA of the coronavirus infection in a person’s body. Thanks to this, it can detect the virus in the early days of infection and is highly accurate. PCR testing is conducted by collecting samples from the upper respiratory tract (nasopharynx) of the patient.

If you have developed symptoms of an acute respiratory illness – fever, cough, or shortness of breath, you have recently been in close contact with someone who has confirmed coronavirus infection, or you have been in a country where there is a high risk of COVID-19 spread, we advise you not to delay diagnosis and further treatment if necessary. If you plan to take a PCR test, you need to refrain from local procedures and the use of medications in the area of the planned sample collection (upper respiratory tract) for 2 hours prior to sampling.

The overall service includes testing and a doctor's consultation.

The test results can be obtained within 24 or 48 hours, which will be immediately sent to your email address provided during the consultation with the doctor.
