- ‘I work with infants from the first year of life, patients with skin problems, allergies, atopic dermatitis and gastroenterological diseases.’
- ‘The peculiarity of a pediatrician’s work is that patient himself does not complain about anything. Most often a child can show parents and pediatrician that something disturbs him just by crying and screaming. We need to understand what hurts and find an approach to a child, so he allows to be examined.’
- ‘Pediatrician can determine a daily routine for a child, monitor gaining of weight, his physical development and prescribe a supplemental feeding and vitamins necessary for a proper growth of a baby.’
- ‘Nowadays, number of sick children has increased. They began to get sick more often too. If in earlier days the health index, i.e. number of visits to a pediatrician due to illness, was 3-4 visits for children older than one year, now a child is not considered to be frequently ill, if number of his visits to pediatrician is 6-8 times a year. This is due to environmental conditions, nutrition (many of today’s products contain antibiotics, pesticides, etc.), as well as a psychological climate in family, which is reflected on a child.’
Doctor's advice:
- ‘The first year of a child’s life is important to manage correctly. Keep a healthy lifestyle, choose a proper nutrition for a child and observe the rules of supplemental feeding – all this will allow a child to grow up healthy. These measures also allow children with chronic or hereditary diseases to avoid development and acquisition of new diseases.’
- ‘Be sure to show your child to a doctor if he starts vomiting, got fever, violations of behavioral features and diarrhea appeared etc.’
