The procedure to remove an underfoot hematoma includes:
- disinfection of the foot;
- release of blood from under the nail through a small hole, which is made with a cutter;
- washing of the formed cavity with disinfectant and anti-inflammatory agent “Octanisept”;
- application of capolin with propolis and fixing it on the nail plate with a bandage.
After five days it is recommended to come for a second examination to get further recommendations from the doctor on the care of the nail plate after removal of the subnail hematoma.
Removal of subnail hematoma lasts: 20 minutes.
The procedure does not require special preparation and has no contraindications (except for allergic reactions to drugs). For complete removal of subnail hematoma, as a rule, one procedure is enough.
