Dobrobut and Okhmatdyt united for the sake of children's health

The Dobrobut Medical Network and the National Children's Specialized Hospital “Ohmatdyt” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at combining the efforts of private and public healthcare to improve the quality of medical care for children. This is the first example of a partnership between a private and municipal healthcare facility in Ukraine.

Dobrobut and Okhmatdyt doctors will share their experience and expertise, and patients will be able to receive a wider range of care.

The healthcare chain has cooperated with the largest children's hospital in Ukraine before, in particular, Dobrobut helped patients of Okhmatdyt after the missile attack in July 2024.

“We have formalized our long-standing cooperation with a memorandum to further complement and strengthen each other's expertise. For example, we lease equipment to Okhmatdyt that we have and they do not. And we refer our patients to Okhmatdyt specialists for services that we cannot provide, such as neonatal screening, dialysis, and pediatric neurosurgery. Children will benefit from this synergy, first of all, because they will receive timely and necessary assistance,” said Oleksandra Mashkevych, Chief Medical Officer of Dobrobut.

“We highly value our cooperation with the Dobrobut medical network and are pleased that our interaction is reaching a new level. This partnership will not only improve the quality of medical services for patients, but will also help to use the resources of both medical institutions more efficiently. Together, we will be able to respond more quickly to the needs of children and provide them with the best care. We hope that our cooperation will become an example for other medical institutions,” commented Oleksandr Urin, Acting CEO of Okhmatdyt.
