Package "Preoperative infection panel"

A set of laboratory tests that helps to identify diseases that can cause complications during surgery or worsen the course of the postoperative period.

It is recommended to undergo the examination 7 days before the surgery.

The results of the examination will allow

• assess the functional state of the body, which is necessary for the operation and postoperative recovery
• exclude acute conditions or exacerbation of chronic diseases;
• to exclude infectious diseases such as hepatitis B and C, syphilis, which helps to avoid epidemic outbreaks in the hospital and infection of medical staff.

Any deviation of any indicator from the reference values requires a consultation with a specialist physician.

Indications: planned surgical intervention

Contraindications: acute inflammatory processes or chronic ones in the acute stage

Preparation: possible during the day: a light breakfast is allowed no later than 4 hours before the test (exclude fatty foods). You should drink 400 ml of water 30 minutes before the test.

Age restrictions: the service is provided from the age of 18.

Appointment for the service is only by referral from a network doctor and with the date of the planned surgical intervention indicated.
