The “Dobrobut” medical network and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document provides for the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of medical education, rehabilitation, and veteran support. The memorandum was signed by the Minister of Veterans Affairs, Nataliya Kalmykova, and the CEO of “Dobrobut,” Serhiy Orel.
Under the memorandum, the “Dobrobut” medical network will provide the Ministry of Veterans Affairs with advisory and expert support in developing state veteran policy. This includes medical areas of work, joint educational campaigns, experience exchange, and participation in conferences and roundtables.
One of the first steps under the agreement was the joint implementation of the social project “Medical Education for Heroes,” initiated by “Dobrobut.” As part of the project, 20 veterans with medical education, selected through a competitive process, were given the opportunity to undergo free professional training at the private higher education institution “Dobrobut Academy.” The program aims to support veterans who wish to restore or continue their careers in medicine by acquiring modern knowledge and practical skills. The project is also supported by VeteranHub and “Ukrainska Pravda.Zhyttya.”
“When we talk about the recovery of veterans after the war, we mean not only medical rehabilitation but also the opportunity to return to their profession and serve people in a new role. Signing the memorandum with the ‘Dobrobut’ network is the beginning of broader cooperation, within which we are already implementing the program ‘Medical Education for Heroes.’ It represents a new stage of development, the value of experience, the trust of the state and business, and support for those who defended Ukraine,” said Nataliya Kalmykova, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
“Today, it is important for the state and business to act as partners. We combine resources, experience, and a common goal — to create an effective veteran support system. The ‘Dobrobut’ project ‘Medical Education for Heroes’ is just the first example of how responsible business can help not with words, but with concrete actions. Together with our partners, we are preparing many more useful initiatives for veterans so that they feel needed and engaged in society,” commented Serhiy Orel, CEO of the “Dobrobut” medical network.
