The Dobrobut medical network has started recruiting patients with stage 3b or stage 4 chronic kidney disease to participate in an international Phase III clinical trial.
Chronic kidney disease requires ongoing monitoring and timely treatment. Modern medicine continues to explore new approaches that may help slow disease progression and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications.
Women and men aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with stage 3b or stage 4 chronic kidney disease may be eligible to participate in the trial. The research team will determine whether candidates meet the eligibility criteria after a preliminary health assessment.
Participants receive medical care and support from specialists, doctor consultations, laboratory and instrumental examinations, and regular monitoring of their condition at no cost. Free organized transportation to the clinical research site in Kyiv is also provided. In addition, participating in the trial offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of new approaches to treating chronic kidney disease.
The trial is conducted in accordance with the International Council for Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice guidelines (ICH GCP) and the current legislation of Ukraine, and has been approved by the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Ethics Committee. Participation is voluntary. Before making a decision, potential participants will receive detailed information about the procedures, possible risks, and benefits of the trial. Participant safety is the top priority.
“Every clinical trial gives patients an opportunity to access innovative treatment, medical support, and the necessary examinations, while allowing doctors to gain new experience and deepen their knowledge. This is already the 12th active trial across various therapeutic areas at Dobrobut, and we continue to expand our research activities,” said Kseniia Sekretna, Head of the Clinical Research Center at the Dobrobut medical network.
