Algorithm and rules of hospitalization at Dobrobut. Interview with Medical Director Tatiana Anikeeva

Clients of the Medical Network "Dobrobut" sometimes face a number of questions during hospitalization. Whether a patient is admitted to a hospital or the intensive care unit, there are specific rules that we would like to explain in detail.

Medical Director of "Dobrobut," Tetiana Volodymyrivna Anikeieva, answered common questions on this topic.

A deposit is money placed in the patient’s personal account, which is used to provide medical services to the patient in the hospital. First and foremost, it guarantees that, if necessary, the patient has the resources to receive all services urgently.

Every day, the patient (or their legal representative) receives a statement of services rendered, including a list of services and the total amount for the day of hospitalization. The document is always prepared in two copies, one of which remains with the patient. This way, they always have up-to-date information about the balance in their account, all medical procedures prescribed by the doctor, and their costs.

When hospitalized in the inpatient department of LLC "Dobrobut-Polyclinic," the following documents are prepared:

  • Medical history of the inpatient: Form No. 003/o;
  • Inpatient treatment contract between the clinic and the patient (between the clinic, patient, and payer if the patient does not pay for the treatment themselves).

The amount of the deposit is approved by an order within the department and varies for each department. The cost may also vary depending on the preliminary diagnosis and the patient's condition at the time of hospitalization.

For example, the deposit in the intensive care unit is 50,000 UAH. The majority of these funds are spent on diagnostic search, tests, diagnostics, and consultations with related specialists.

Each patient upon admission to the hospital can sign the appropriate document—“Regarding the Disclosure of Patient Information to Third Parties.” If this document is signed, the relatives and third parties specified in it receive complete information about the patient’s condition, treatment, and financial expenses during their stay at the clinic.

There are various cases, but we want to assure you that the deposit does not get depleted instantly. In "Dobrobut," an administrative council is held for complex patients, where doctors discuss forecasts and the estimated time and methods of treatment. If there is a signed document "Regarding the Disclosure of Patient Information to Third Parties," the designated person is also informed. If during treatment the patient or the patient's relatives express a desire to transfer to state specialized clinics, we offer such transfers.

If, after the treatment, there are remaining funds in the patient’s account, we return them according to the refund algorithm. For this, the following are required:

  • Application for a refund.
  • Passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
  • TIN – taxpayer identification number.
  • Payment receipt.

Additionally, the patient can leave these funds in the deposit and use them to pay for medical services throughout the Medical Network "Dobrobut."

The Medical Network "Dobrobut" is a private structure. We advocate for an open and honest approach; in "Dobrobut," prices are never artificially inflated, and diagnoses or indications are never falsified.

We position ourselves as a company with open communication. That is why we are always ready to provide and detail any information for our clients without violating legislation.

We are here for you!
