Digital dermatoscopy with a doctor's consultation
This diagnostic method is used by dermatologists, cosmetologists, and oncologists to enlarge the image of problem areas for a more detailed examination. Before the procedure, chlorhexidine is applied to the skin area to be examined to degrease it, and then a special gel is applied to improve the image quality. The electronic device used to perform the examination is connected to a computer, which displays an image of the skin area under study. Visualization can be enlarged for even more detailed study and detection of skin pathologies.

Digital dermatoscopy helps to determine
- the nature of the neoplasm (malignant or benign);
- the depth of its penetration into the skin;
- the presence of blood vessels and pigmentation;
- structure.
This diagnosis allows doctors to decide whether to remove the tumor, as well as determine the depth of impact on the tumor during surgery.
If no pathologies were detected in the examined area, it is recommended to repeat this examination in six months. The dermatologist compares the images obtained during the first examination with the results of the second examination and, if changes dangerous to the patient's life and health are detected, will decide on the need for surgical treatment. No special preparation is required for the procedure.
The procedure has no contraindications.
- high accuracy and speed of diagnostics;
- no skin damage after the examination.
