From December 18, 2023, to May 15, 2024, Ukrainians can receive free surgical and rehabilitation care at the Dobrobut Medical and Diagnostic Center at 3 Simi Idzykovskikh Street, with the support of the international foundation Direct Relief.
Military personnel and civilians with injuries and traumas caused by military operations, as well as children of military personnel, can receive free surgical care, both scheduled and urgent. The military also has a program of free physical rehabilitation for injuries sustained during hostilities.
The number of places in the program of free surgical and rehabilitation assistance is limited. To get help, you need to leave an application by calling the Dobrobut contact center at (097) 495 2 888, (050) 495 2 888, (044) 495 2 888. Applications are reviewed by a special medical commission.
"Dobrobut has been cooperating with Direct Relief since April 2022. As a result, more than 2.3 thousand patients have received free medical care at the Dobrobut Diagnostic and Treatment Center. With the support of the American partner, Dobrobut surgeons have performed nearly 1,000 surgeries.
"The Dobrobut medical team has been helping Ukrainians affected by the war since the first days of the full-scale invasion. For the second year in a row, our network has been cooperating with the international charity organization Direct Relief to be able to treat those who need it most. So we are pleased that for the next six months, from December to May, we will continue to provide free surgical care not only to wounded military and civilians, but also to children of the military," says Lidiya Podkopayeva, chief operating officer of the Dobrobut Medical and Diagnostic Center.
