Laser lipolysis

Laser lipolysis is a non-surgical procedure aimed at reducing body volume and contouring the figure.

The procedure uses the SculpSure laser with a wavelength of 1060 nm, which is characterized by its ability to effectively target fat cells while minimally damaging surrounding tissues. Thanks to the built-in cooling system, the procedure takes place with maximum comfort for the patient. Under the influence of the laser for 25 minutes, fat cells are broken down, after which the destroyed cells are naturally eliminated from the body. The results after the procedure become most noticeable 12 weeks post-treatment.

SculpSure is the world's first FDA-approved laser permitted for use in performing lipolysis of the abdomen, sides, back, inner and outer thighs, and submental area.

Laser lipolysis using SculpSure is indicated for non-invasive body contouring and volume reduction in individuals with a body mass index of no more than 30. The laser is also used to eliminate double chin.

Laser lipolysis should not be performed on individuals with:

• oncology;
• immunodeficiency conditions, including HIV and AIDS;
• coagulation disorders;
• pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• increased sensitivity to light;
• disruption of the integrity of the skin in the areas of treatment;
• neurological disorders;
• diabetic neurasthenia;
• mental health disorders.

It is advised to refrain from the procedure if, less than 3 weeks prior, the patient:

• underwent liposuction or lipofilling;
• took antiplatelet medications, anticoagulants, high doses of aspirin, thrombolytics, anti-inflammatory drugs, photosensitizers, parenteral gold salts (sodium aurothiomalate);
• tanned or visited a tanning salon.

As preparation, it is recommended not to tan for 3 weeks before the procedure.
