IPL hyperpigmentation treatment

Hyperpigmentation is an aesthetic skin issue that can occur due to external negative factors and age-related processes in the body. Hyperpigmentation is the most common side effect of sclerotherapy, which leads to the greatest aesthetic losses during cosmetic procedures in phlebology.

In the medical network "Dobrobat," the removal of excess pigment after sclerotherapy is performed using the IPL system.

IPL (Intense Pulse Light) is an intense light emission with a wide range of wavelengths. The light source is a flash lamp, and additional filters help adjust the necessary depth of impact. The destruction of skin pigmentation occurs through a thermal reaction that starts after the skin cells absorb the light energy.

The IPL system is equipped with an additional cooling nozzle that allows lowering the skin temperature in the treated areas to 12-15°C. This provides additional comfort for the patient during the procedure, as it significantly reduces unpleasant sensations.

During the procedure, phlebologist doctors use the augmented reality system AccuVein and an additional visualization system Syris, which allow for more detailed visualization of the impact zones and more effective influence on them due to contrast and infrared light.

The procedure has no restrictions or contraindications and does not require special preparation.

The procedure lasts no more than 1 hour.
