Facial cleansing

Facial cleansing is a procedure aimed at cleansing the facial skin from impurities. Cleansing usually involves several stages and is performed using various methods, depending on the degree of skin pollution, its type, and the presence of accompanying issues.

There are two main types of facial cleansing: mechanical and ultrasonic. The combination of the two methods is called combined cleansing.

Mechanical cleansing is performed using special spatulas and the hands of the cosmetologist. Before the procedure, the skin is prepared with a cream that warms it up.

Combined cleansing is carried out when mechanical cleansing alone is insufficient.

Combined cleansing is indicated in the presence of deep comedones (blackheads) and pustules, which are removed using mechanical cleansing, while surface impurities are eliminated using ultrasound or vacuum.

Combined cleansing includes several stages:

• makeup removal according to skin type;
• scrubbing;
• warming gel;
• mechanical cleansing;
• ultrasonic or vacuum cleansing;
• mask;
• toning;
• application of cream according to skin type.

The procedure is indicated for:

• the presence of acne of degrees 1-2;
• oily or combination skin;
• open porous skin;
• enlarged pores on the face;
• the presence of comedones, acne without exacerbation;
• the first signs of aging: loose skin, reduced tone and turgor of the skin.

The procedure is not conducted in the presence of pustular diseases on the skin (furuncles), eczema, herpes, psoriasis, vitiligo, acne of degrees 3-4 severity, viral and fungal skin diseases.

The service is provided from the age of 12, and does not require special preparation.
