Dobrobut Joined the “PRO Leadership” Program

The Dobrobut medical network hosted 33 medical interns and young doctors from the Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Mykolaiv regions. The visit took place as part of the “PRO Leadership” program — an initiative aimed at developing a new generation of healthcare leaders.

During the meeting at Dobrobut, participants spoke with the network’s Chief Medical Director, Oleksandra Mashkevych, who discussed Dobrobut’s development as a leader in private medicine in Ukraine, approaches to ensuring quality medical care within the network, team development, and corporate culture. Together with Olga Adamenko, Head of Emergency Services, and Vitalii Bibikov, Head of the Admissions Department, she also answered questions from young doctors about various aspects of organizing work in a private medical institution and shared interesting clinical and management cases.

“It is extremely valuable for us to share our experience with young doctors, especially those who work or plan to work in regions currently facing constant challenges. We believe that the future of Ukrainian medicine lies in cooperation, openness to new knowledge, and the exchange of experience between the public and private sectors. At the same time, it is important to create an environment where doctors can grow professionally and feel supported and cared for,” said Oleksandra Mashkevych, Chief Medical Director of the Dobrobut medical network.

After the discussion and presentation, participants toured the multidisciplinary Dobrobut hospital at 3 Sim’i Idzikovskykh Street. Young doctors had the opportunity to observe the organization of a modern clinic, see state-of-the-art equipment, learn about team workflows, and communicate directly with the network’s specialists.

“PRO Leadership” brings together young healthcare professionals who seek not only professional growth but also transformation within the healthcare system. The program covers leadership, emotional intelligence, effective communication, digital innovation, and modern approaches to healthcare development.

The “PRO Leadership” program is organized with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyi within the framework of EU4Recovery — the flagship partnership of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine.
