Doctor's advice:
- “To prevent back pain, you should adhere to the following rules: do not lift weights over 5 kg; keep everything you carry at chest level, press it to your body; lift ‘from the floor’ by sitting down like a weightlifter; do not make sudden movements, especially turns of the torso when bending over; keep your back straight; when carrying weights, try to evenly distribute the load on both arms. Use a trolley, bag or suitcase on wheels, backpacks on both shoulders for transportation; if you often work at a computer, the monitor should be opposite you, you should sit leaning on the back of a chair, with your back straight but slightly relaxed; periodically take breaks from work for gymnastic warm-ups; shoes without heels are just as harmful as high-heeled shoes. The correct heel is no higher than 5 cm; do not overcool, avoid stressful situations, they lead to spasm of the back muscles; buy an orthopedic mattress, pillow, insoles, chair (for the selection of orthopedic products, you should consult a specialist); physical activity is mandatory, but the type of activity (swimming pool/pilates/Yevminov board, etc.) must be agreed with a neurologist or orthopedist, based on your individual spine condition. Be healthy!”
