- “Medicine is not only about technical knowledge and skills but also the ability to listen and understand the patient. A doctor must combine deep understanding and experience with empathy and support. As the great physician Abu Ali ibn Sina (Avicenna) said: ‘A doctor must have the eyes of a hawk, the hands of a girl, the wisdom of a serpent, and the heart of a lion.’ These words are a true life principle in medical practice — it’s important not only to know how to treat but to be compassionate and humane.”
Priority areas in clinical practice:
- surgical and conservative treatment of venous pathologies of the lower and upper limbs at various stages, including venous thrombosis and thrombophlebitis, post-thrombotic disease, varicose veins, using modern minimally invasive technologies: endovenous laser ablation, miniphlebectomy, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, microsclerotherapy for reticular veins and telangiectasias;
- comprehensive diagnosis of cerebral atherosclerosis;
- conservative and surgical treatment of lower limb arterial diseases, including obliterative atherosclerosis and endarteritis, acute arterial thrombosis;
- surgical treatment of vascular trauma, gunshot wounds of major limb vessels, and their complications;
- diagnosis and treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms;
- conservative treatment of lymphostasis and lymphedema;
- treatment of trophic ulcers of various etiologies;
- vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
- "Due to the introduction of modern laser technologies, traditional radical surgeries for varicose veins are increasingly being replaced by new treatment methods. Laser techniques are less traumatic, have a shorter recovery period, and reduce the risk of complications, making them a preferred choice for patients. As in any area of medicine, the patient's examination starts with the simplest methods and becomes more complex depending on the results. We will begin with an analysis of your complaints and history, physical examination, and laboratory tests such as coagulogram and lipid profile. Then, for more accurate diagnosis, we will conduct an ultrasound examination of veins and/or arteries, which is the 'gold standard' for venous pathology. If necessary, we can perform angiography or CT angiography to assess the condition of major arteries. After obtaining the results, we will discuss the next steps in treatment and monitoring your condition together. Your health is our common goal!"
Tell us about your professional interests other than your specialization:
- modern approaches to treating cardiovascular pathologies;
- new treatments for chest organ diseases, including vascular-tumor lesions, which may require a multidisciplinary approach;
- vascular complications in cancer patients;
- blood disorder therapy.
Hobbies, favorite movies, books:
- "I enjoy traveling, painting, horseback riding, and studying foreign languages. True inspiration for me has always come from reading. I especially love world classics, and among my favorite authors are the writers of the 'lost generation': Erich Maria Remarque, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway. I am also always inspired by the works of André Maurois, Somerset Maugham, and Stefan Zweig. My favorite book is ‘Beware of Pity’ by Stefan Zweig. It's a profound story about involvement, choice, and human vulnerability — themes that are close not only in life but also in medicine."
Doctor's advice:
- "Dear patients, remember that doctors are always ready to do their best to improve your health. However, your active involvement in treatment, trust, and adherence to recommendations are crucial parts of success. Together, we can achieve the best results, and I will support you at every step of your journey!"
